PROMETHEUS will contribute to:
- Improve the organisation and the presence in the market of SMEs that provide energy services
- Increase the reliability of the energy services provided 
- Heighten customer confidence in SME suppliers of green energy services 
- Facilitate communication between the supply and user chains

- Support a wider diffusion of renewable energies and energy efficient systems.

The direct outcomes will be:
• draft proposal of a common EU scheme to ensure the quality of energy services provided by SME suppliers to customers and local pilot projects applied to local realities
•  selected shining examples and recommendations about strategies and organisational models for SME associations to widen their energy services market
•  tools to facilitate contacts among enterprises and help them in the creation and implementation of green energy clusters (at least 11 new green energy clusters will be established in partners’ area)
•  promotion and information to the public, in order to support the demand side and establish the needed transparent and mutual trust relation that will encourage customers to do investments in energy services (“trust your supplier” campaign)
•  training workshops and seminars to entrepreneurs, consultants, energy enablers, trade associations employees, cluster members
