CRACA is a company set up on the initiative of FRAV – Confartigianato (Craftsmen’s Trade Union) of Veneto in 1978. The latter represents an employers’ trade union which takes about 70,000 enterprises into partnership in Veneto. Its shareholders are more than eighty consortia and cooperatives of craftsmen companies based in Veneto, whose activities range from export to production services, from collective joint purchases to order acquisitions.
CRACA was set up in order to promote and introduce “associations” among craftsmen companies and support the consolidation and the social and economic growth of cooperatives, consortia and cooperative associations operating in the sector of Venetian craftsmanship. That mission is continuously pursued in ways and activities developing through the years. The CRACA structure is composed of a Board of Directors, a Chairman and a Managing Director. At present CRACA has got 7 employees. Nowadays CRACA operates in several lines: Research & Development, Organization, Innovation and quality culture, Institutional and standardization sectors, Public policies, Cooperation, Promotion and Internationalization, Sustainable development, Computerization and information technology.

AESS [ Italy ]
AESS, the Energy Agency of Modena (Agenzia per l’Energia e lo Sviluppo Sostenibile) was founded in 1999 with the support of the EC SAVE II Programme, as an association of five founding partners (Modena Municipality and Province, Chamber of Commerce, META- the former energy utility of Modena-, and ATCM- the local transport company-). Actually AESS counts 26 local partners: the Province of Modena, Modena city and 15 more smaller municipalities, the local Chamber of Commerce, the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, , public utilities GEOVEST, AIMAG, SAT and ATCM, the NGOs Legambiente, Federconsumatori and Unione Nazionale Consumatori.
AESS is a member of RENAEL, the Energy Agency Italian network, which counts other 25 Energy Agencies.
Director Marcello Antinucci is a senior expert, having more than 25 years experience in renewables and energy saving issues. Staff counts today 10 people, with a number of short-term training opportunities to students during the year.
AESS is primarily involved in the promotion of renewable energy sources, energy efficiency and reduction of energy consumption among Local Authorities, SMEs, schools and consumers.

Energy Agency for Savinjska, Saleska and Koroska - KSSENA was established in 2006 within the framework of Intelligent Energy Europe (IEE) by the following founders: Municipality of Velenje (MOV), Municipality of Celje (MOC), Municipality of Slovenj Gradec (MOSG) and Public utilities Company (KPV).
KSSENA is an expert organization specialized in the field of energetic, with the emphasis on RES and RUE, and project management. KSSENA is professional bridge between potential users (emphasis on the public sector) and suppliers of specialized energetic services and products.

The Heraklion Chamber of Commerce and Industry is a public law entity and was established in 1923. According to the current institutional frame, the Heraklion Chamber of Commerce and Industry constitutes an advisory and consultatory body for both the State and its member-enterprises. Its objective is to represent, follow up and promote industry, manufacture, trade and services aiming at the growth of the local and national economy. Within the framework of its institutional role, the Heraklion Chamber of Commerce and Industry provides services as a public authority, plays an advisory and consultative role towards the State, and participates in committees of planning of regional and local government bodies/organizations. At the same time the Chamber of Heraklion, develops actions and provides services supporting its member-enterprises, works in conjunction with other organizations on local, regional, national and international scale as well as with the academic and research institutes of its region. MID PANNON [ Hungary ]
Mid-Pannon Regional Development Company (MP)- Hungary is situated in Central- Transdanubian Region, to the North-Eeast of Budapest, that is the country’s economic, commercial and cultural centre. MP is a core institution of economic development in the region to develop SME support services and provide financing both for SMEs and municipality project developments.
Hungary comprises seven statistical and administrative regions (NUTS II). One of these is the Central-Transdanubian Region. The region consists of three counties, Fejér, Veszprém and Komárom-Esztergom and accounts for 11.9% of the country’s territory. Fejér county has 10 micro regions, while Veszprém county has 9 and Komárom-Esztergom has 7 micro regions. The three counties have a total of 401 settlements, with  1,100,000 population.
Mid –Pannon was established in 1994, with starting capital of 2.3 million euros.
Current capital is 5.7 million euros, mainly in cash. Main owners are: 3 main municipalities of the region and 1 state-owned holding company with a share of 90.4 %.
A 6 people-staff full-time employees and a wide network of part-timers and consultants work on the regional and national projects.
The mother company is the Regional Development Holding Co., established in 2000 and has a capital of 61 million euros. The RDH has 7 RDCs, covering the whole  country ( Mid-Pannon is one of them) and several integrated companies (SME financing, venture capital, logistics etc).
Mid-Pannon has got a long-term experience in the establishment, financing and operation of incubators, industrial parks, technology centres. It has 5 years experience
in cluster-management, in the fields of building-construction, informatics, alternative energy (solar), furniture, automotive and mechatronics. The cluster management activities (fund raising, general management, support services) have been working since year 2004.
Since its creation, the MP has participated in the development of initiatives of industrial parks, incubator houses, technology parks in the region. It is currently the owner of 1 incubator and 1 technology centre in partnership with a university and private companies. Consequently, the MP definitely has the expertise and skills relevant for the project content and will make use of these in favour of the successful project implementation.

AEE [ Austria ]
AEE – renewable energy services company is the service company of AEE –“Arbeitsgemeinschaft ERNEUERBARE ENERGIE Villach” ,a non profit association to support the meaningful application of renewable energy sources and the rational and sustainable usage of energy.
The objective of the AEE  is to work for the more efficient, innovative, and safe use of renewable energy and to increase the public awareness of energy in all its aspects.
Currently it is working in the areas of renewable energy and energy efficiency. It operates actively from a position of independence and credibility, takes part in public debate, and has access both to the relevant market players and political decision makers.
The AEE  Kärnten with a staff of 15 to 20 people is active in the fields of
- Campaigns & initiatives which both inform and stimulate thought, and provide concrete examples of how to live and work in an energy-conscious fashion with renewable energy sources.

EAP [ Bulgaria ]
Energy Agency of Plovdiv (EAP), Bulgaria is the first energy management agency established in Bulgaria under the SAVE II program of the European Commission (EC). It is now one of the few such agencies established in Central and Eastern Europe following the decision of the EC in 1999 to expand the program to our region of Europe. The EC and others have considered EAP a huge success in the country and in the region since its inception in 2000. EAP is continuing its activities promoting energy efficiency and clean energies as well as identifying and developing new energy projects. Energy Efficiency (EE) is a new concept in Bulgaria; supply side issues used to be the main topic for discussion on the national agenda. A success was shifting the focus to the demand side of energy, bringing attention to energy consumption issues within the community and providing practical ways for individuals, communities and businesses to improve their energy management.  
EAP cooperates closely with partnership agencies in all European countries.   
The main goals of Energy Agency of Plovdiv are:
• To promote energy efficiency at the local and regional level
• To provide energy efficiency and RES comprehensive information, education, advocacy and lobbying
• To raise public awareness of the connection between energy efficiency and climate protection
• To promote programs, institutions and investments favouring sustainable energy development, including renewable energy sources

CNIPMMR [ Romania ]
CNIPMMR - The National Council of Private SMEs in Romania is a national representative employers’ confederation, aiming at supporting the Romanian SMEs interests, by contributing to a steady and favorable environment for SMEs development.
As a multi-sectorial employers’ organization, CNIPMMR has over 11,000 companies as members grouped into 102 local and regional associations. CNIPMMR is a social partner in the tripartite social dialogue structures at national and local levels.
CNIPMMR objectives are to promote and protect enterprises’ interests in the relationship with relevant stakeholders, to encourage entrepreneurship and to support Romanian private SMEs interests at international, national and local levels. The majority of its members are small and medium-sized companies, whose activities are focused on various fields, such as: industry, construction, manufacturing (wood, milk, food, textile processing, and pharmaceuticals), trade, and services (tourism, health, consultancy, training, advertising).
CNIPMMR is involved in developing and participating in local, regional, national and trans-national projects, aiming mainly at providing services for SMEs, especially information and advice concerning the European acquits and legal aspects of business development. ESS [ Sweden ]
The Energy Agency for Southeast Sweden is a regional development and information centre for issues concerning energy and transport. The Energy Agency was started as an EU-project in 1999 as a result of the increased focus on climate change and need for qualified and impartial actors in the energy and transport sector.
Since 2007, operations are run in the company The Energy Agency for Southeast Sweden. It is now owned by an association whose members consist of the regional councils, county councils and municipalities in Blekinge, Kalmar and Kronoberg. Our approximately 25 employees work in offices in Växjö, Kalmar, Karlskrona and Oskarshamn.
The Energy Agency for Southeast Sweden’s business concept is to provide up to date, objective and impartial information and knowledge in the energy and transport sectors.
The Energy Agency for Southeast Sweden initiate, coordinate and implement projects aimed at improving energy efficiency and sustainable development. We work to strategically link together missions on the local and regional level with missions on the European and international arena.
Our main contracting bodies are the EU, the Swedish Energy Agency, the Swedish Road Association, The Swedish National Agency for Education and the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency. Amongst our regional clients and target groups are both public and private operators in Southeast Sweden.

RAEE [ France ]
Rhônalpénergie-Environnement (RAEE) is the regional energy and environment agency of the Rhône-Alpes region www.raee.org. Created in 1978 with the support of the Regional Council of Rhône-Alpes, the agency aims at contributing to the promotion, to the co-ordination and the development of actions in favour of the rational use of energy, the promotion of renewable energies, the protection of the environment and the practical application of the sustainable development concept. The activities of RAEE are mainly targeted at local authorities and the public and social sector. The agency is accompanying them through information, advice and assistance. It covers a large activity range like implementation of RES and RUE technologies, project development, management advice, strategy design, new financing concepts, monitoring, awareness raising campaigns etc.
Rhônalpénergie-Environnement is a non-profit association and gathers about 45 members of the Rhône-Alpes region, including regional and local authorities, energy producers (EDF, GDF), local energy distributors, associations in the field of energy and environment, federations (in social housing, the energy and services sector), financial bodies, etc. At the national level Rhônalpénergie-Environnement is part of the RARE network www.rare.org, regrouping presently 11 regional agencies. At the European level, RAEE is member of the European Federation of Regional Energy and Environment Agencies www.fedarene.org (65 agencies in 15 EU member states). These two networks are ready to serve as a relay in the information dissemination.
Rhônalpénergie-Environnement has a long experience in managing and handling European actions (more than 50) covering as well investment projects as studies, analysis of market potentials and dissemination activities in the framework of the EIE programme and INTERREG A and B. The staff of RAEE has a thorough know-how of the different RES, RUE technologies and mobility management (solar thermal, PV, wood energy, bio-fuels, hydro power, cogeneration, travel plans etc.) and their concrete implementation (design, legal context, financing mechanisms etc.). The agency gives a high priority to the dissemination of information and know-how. It organises conferences and seminars (around 15 per year with up to 100 persons attending), produces brochures and sets up Web pages.

IPIC [ Spain ]
The Iberian Productivity and Innovation Centre (IPIC) is an independent organisation that was established in Barcelona, Spain in 2005. The mission of IPIC is to assist industrial companies, mainly SMEs, in their endeavours to improve their competiveness and to conceptualise and implement new avenues for innovation, research, training and collaboration. IPIC aims to foment competitiveness within the context of sustainable development and social responsibility. Within the scope of sustainable development, IPIC is assisting SMEs, Industrial sectors in getting involved in energy efficiency and RES initiatives, and is already coordinating two successful projects under the Intelligent Energy Europe programme.
IPIC is based in a science park belonging to the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and acts as a key link between research providers and industry. Working very closely with the industrial sector within Spain, IPIC is familiar with the needs, limitations, preoccupations and aspirations of small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) and, as such, is committed to bringing innovation and research opportunities within the reach and scope of SMEs by mobilising and assisting them to play an active role, as well as to uptake the innovative results of R&D efforts. IPIC is well networked in Spain and across Europe with Technology Institutes, Universities, Chambers of Commerce, Business Development Agencies, and Industrial Associations.
IPIC has been responsible for the mobilisation and support of large numbers of SMEs and Industrial Groupings from across Europe to participate actively in the European Research Framework Programmes. IPIC has also been very active in supporting research and innovation providers in meeting the research and innovation needs of companies. As such, IPIC has participated in the development of many successful research and development projects, as well as support actions in favour of industry driven R&D initiatives.
In terms of its expertise, IPIC has a track record in playing a management role, as well as a role as a solid partner within consortia lead by other organisations, in transnational, national and regional projects. IPIC has significant proficiency in dealing with the multifaceted nature of transnational cooperation projects, from formulation, to submission, to execution, in conjunction with leading consortia, as well as initializing stakeholder participation, drawing upon the benefit of its multilingual coordinators and native English speakers. This coupled with its array of expertise in all current ICT applications endows IPIC with a blend of know-how which has proven to be a success in the recent past, whereby IPIC is currently coordinating 2 projects under the Intelligent Energy European Programme of the Competitiveness and Innovation Programme, as well as acting as partner in a further 2 under the Lifelong Learning Programme and the IEE. IPIC is also involved in a Support Action within the Seventh Framework Programme, and also participates actively in leading, as well as deploying, numerous regional and national projects and initiatives.
