Communication and dissemination activities

In each Task there will be a part of Common Activity where all Partners will participate (organization of a common International Conference, information campaign, production of common publications, brochures, etc. with the same layout) and the organisation of more Local Activities (local events and publications) to involve local stakeholders.

The campaign “Trust your supplier” will consist of the following activities, to be performed by all partners:

-          3 public 1 day events (1 event a year), where stands of installers, planners, suppliers, banks, environmental associations and other subjects will demonstrate to people the advantages of sustainable energy, as well as promote services. These events could be in the same day or the same week (e.g. sustainable energy week) in all Partners’ countries. Partners who wish could also organize additional activities during these info-days, e.g. environmental education, conferences, etc. Feedback from the contacts made at the first event, could be used to implement the second one, etc.

-          Advertisements in the press, websites, radio, possibly articles in the local press to be published by all partners. Experience has shown that a great tool for the dissemination of information is the internet, so partners can use their websites, forums, blogs etc. in order to advertise the events and have access to a larger number of users. Eventual feedback from the users can be taken into account for the amelioration of foreseen activities.

-          Campaign promotion materials (at least 1 brochure or leaflet and 1 poster) explaining the Campaign’s objectives and actions, with common layout to be translated into partners’ languages, printed by Partners and distributed during public events. The content of the material will be discussed among partners, and then the WP leader will deliver the common text in English to be translated and adapted by each Partner.

-          Gadgets (e.g. calendars, pens, etc.) to be distributed to people featuring the IEE and Campaign logo (possibly also the project logo), as well as the Project website, to be prepared and distributed by each partner locally. Past experiences have shown that this is a useful tool to attract people’s attention and interest, in order to better diffuse the message of the campaign.
